Angel Island - Immigrant Journeys of Chinese-Americans

A national project but freelanced independently by professional journalist, Lydia Lum. It hopes to create a permanent record of the memories of Chinese-American immigrants through a travelling photo exhibition coupled with oral records and quotes from former detainees.

Chinese Historical and Cultural Project

The Chinese Historical and Cultural Project (CHCP) is based in Santa Clara County, California. It was founded in 1987 as a non-profit organization to promote and preserve Chinese American and Chinese history and culture through community outreach activities. Chinese in Guyana

Curious of his roots, Trevelyan Sue-A-Quan, started this website both to complement his book, The Cane Reapers, and to record and document the history of Chinese immigrants in British Guiana, now known as Guyana. There is also information on the genealogy of Chinese families in Guyana and a bibliography of books written on the Chinese in Guyana.
