Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations

The Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) was established in 1986. The Association Library has a collection of just over 20,000 volumes. The Library is built on the personal collection of the late Professor Xu Yunqiao. This has been expanded through targeted purchases, and donations from Singapore and overseas organizations. Additional donations have also been received from a number of other Chinese Singaporeans, Nan Chiau High School, Chinese Embassy, and others.

The Federation Library aims to collect and preserve valuable resource materials for the Chinese community and to provide information for academic research and other needs. Apart from materials relating to Singapore's Chinese community, the Association Library is notable for its collection of commemorative editions, minutes and related reports of clan associations, school magazines, and works on local Chinese culture, beliefs and practices.
