Chinese Heritage Centre

The Chinese Heritage Centre is a Singapore-based organization established in 1995 to promote research, public education, and information exchanges on the Chinese Overseas. It is governed by an international Board of Governors comprising leading ethnic Chinese business leaders, scholars and other public figures. The Centre published the path-breaking Encyclopedia of the Chinese Overseas in 1998 now translated into Chinese(1999) and In French (2000). It houses exhibitions on the myriad aspects of the Chinese Overseas experience. The Centre Library contains the Professor Wang Gungwu Collection of 10,000 books on Chinese history and the Chinese Overseas.
